When out mountain biking the ability to roll over rocks is something, we are all looking for in a wheelset. The easiest way to do this is to be running 29er wheels. Even better would be with some super stiff carbon fiber 29er boost wheels.
Handily, you have landed on the page for our carbon fiber 29er boost mountain bike wheels. Not a product name that we can easily place on a sticker but a name that tells you exactly what you are buying. Our carbon rims are constructed using high modulus Toray T700 carbon fiber. These rims are available in 35mm or 40mm widths, to allow you to pick the rim that fits your choice of frame and tires.
As well as being super stiff, and light; our wheels are also tubeless ready. Helping to keep you on the trail for longer, drop your tire pressure and find all the grip you need with no worries about punctures. Having rims that allow you to stay on the trails for longer though would be no use if the hubs did not live up to their side of the bargain.
That is why our 29er wheels come with Novatec’s sealed bearing boost hubs. With easily serviceable and replace bearings, you know these hubs will be in service for a long time. To allow you to fit the groupset of your choice, we have this carbon fiber wheelset available with either a Shimano freehub or an SRAM XD driver. Your only question now is what tires do I want to fit these wheels?

THE CALL OF THE WIDE Wider tires roll faster, and are more comfortable, than narrow tires. The tubeless ready, 40mm external width of the AM290 is optimized for use with modern, wider tires, providing them with the right amount of sidewall support to facilitate surefooted handling in all conditions. At a depth of 40mm, the AM290 rim is a great handling, lively climbing, robust all-round performer.

PREMIUM QUALITY HUBS AND SPOKES With two main goals in mind—long life and easy serviceability—we looked to Powerway. The AM290 uses an ultra-reliable, rapid engagement Powerway star-ratchet freehub for smooth power transmission and long-term dependability. Similarly,Sapim spokes were chosen to lace hub to rim, and finished with brass Pro-Lock nipples.
