1.The wheel is asymmetrically designed to accountant for your drivetrain. This allows the wheel to stay balanced while being aerodynamic.
2. Carbon plates are included to hide your valve and ensure aero efficiency.
3. To keep the weight down we have fitted a carbon shelled hub.
4. One of the only tubeless ready disc wheels available.
5. The wheel has been tested at various yaw angles and we have worked to keep the wheel stable within 0.35mm.
6. Our disc wheel is one of the lightest available. The tubeless wheel weighs 1350g, the clincher version is 1200g, and the tubular version weighs 1050g.

THE CALL OF THE WIDE

Wider tires roll faster, and are more comfortable, than narrow tires. The tubeless ready, 25-mm internal width of the DC04 wheel is optimized for use with modern, wider tires, providing them with the right amount of sidewall support to facilitate surefooted handling in all conditions.without spokes, the DC04 rim is a great handling, lively climbing, robust all-round performer that also aerodynamically outperforms many deeper, aero-specific rims.

With two main goals in mind—long life and easy serviceability—we looked to Novatec. The DC04 uses an ultra-reliable, rapid engagement Novatec star-ratchet freehub for smooth power transmission and long-term dependability.

Full Carbon Clincher. High Strength Carbon for Lightweight Performance

Using the latest carbon forming technology, we are able to build a very strong rim from carbon only. A critical area for durability, the tire bead hook of the EPIC clincher rim is up 73% stronger than other carbon clincher rims. This gives you a wheel that is very light, with positive braking performance, and reliable durability.

2-Way Clincher Tubeless Tubes or No-Tubes ,You Choose

Use either traditional tires with tubes, or tubeless tires without tubes. Tubeless tires can provide lower rolling resistance and better protection from punctures.

High-Temperature Carbon Better Braking Performance.

High-Temperature Carbon braking surface. Not only does it stop you faster, with greater stability, but it’s much more durable on brake heavy rides (like long descents).you also can choose the wheelset with disc brake.

Elliptic-Toroidal Rim. Reduce Aerodynamic Drag.

The Elliptic-Toroidal rim shape reduces Aerodynamic drag by matching the spoke side of the rim to the round shape of a tire. This elliptical shape makes the leading edge and the trailing edge of the rim more symmetric. Our CFD aerodynamic simulations have validated that this Elliptic-Toroidal shape provides more uniform airflow, and reduced drag over the primary Yaw angles between 0 to 20 degrees.
